Realme Book has confirmed that it will soon launch its first-gen PC, widely thought to be a MacBook clone since numerous leaks on the subject. Now, a new product from the OEM that is almost certainly this probable ultrabook has been approved by regulator 3C. It suggests that the book does indeed have a spec to match many of its Apple counterparts. An official Realme Twitter account has introduced a “newcomer” with the name of Flash (a refreshing change from the usual string of numbers and buzzwords): a product that, based on the outline shown in its new poster, is to be another of this OEM’s Android smartphones.

More about Realme’s Structure and Components

As for the rest of the Flash, it will apparently have a silver finish to match its new chargers, as well as a triple rear camera hump within which attention is drawn to a markedly enlarged main sensor, with the other 2 in a line beneath it. The Realme Flash is also now depicted as having a curved display with a left-corner punch-hole selfie camera. It is also touted as particularly high-end, with a Snapdragon 888 Soc, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. Add an alleged MagSafe clone, and it might equate to a decent new option in the flagship space.

India and Realme book

Then again, as the Realme account to have teased it in the first place is Indian, it is just possible that the Flash might be available in this market only. Realme has strongly hinted that it will debut its first-gen Book in 2021, if not precisely when or how. It is thought to have a vaguely generic 14-inch ultrabook with Intel Tiger Lake processors. Now, its latest leak might reinforce these rumours. It consists of a new 3C certification secured by Realme for a product overtly registered as its inaugural PC.

Aspects of Realme book

It is indeed a laptop with the model number RMNBxxxx, the last 4 alphanumeric characters of which vary based on specs including RAM, storage, CPU, etc. This new leak also confirms that the machine is capable of charging at a decent rate of 65 watts (W). It will most likely do so through 1 of its 2 rumoured USB type-C ports, said to be located on the same side of the ultrabook. The same chassis is now also slated to have Red, Blue, and Apricot colourways in addition to the more usual Silver, to have a 3:2 aspect-ratio display and, of course, to be a new entry in the thin-and-light category.

Complete Analysis Sketched for Realme Book

  • Live pictures of Realme Book were procured by Android authority ahead of the announcement on June 15. And now, a month later, Giznext, in collaboration with Onleaks, has leaked the alleged renders of the Realme Book. Courtesy to which we have a decent idea of the laptop’s design.
  • Realme’s Europe and India CEO, Madhav Seth, also teased this laptop on his Twitter channel. It gives us a slight glimpse of the upcoming product that is peeking out of an office envelope. That’s mostly to flaunt the slim profile of their upcoming laptop.
  • But that’s not it, Realme vice-president and China product director Wang-Wei Derek shared a picture of the Realme. Although the image is blurred, it provides a decent idea as to how the device would look.
  • The leaked renders clearly suggest that the upcoming Realme Book is hugely inspired by the MacBook. It appears in a brushed aluminium finish with a Realme logo on the lid. Further, the display sports minimal bezels around with a slightly thicker bottom bezel. It has an island-style keyboard, a dedicated power button and a big trackpad. Moreover, the power button is expected to double up as a fingerprint reader for authentication.
  • As far as the ports are concerned, the Realme Book can be seen featuring a 3.5mm audio jack and USB-A port on the right and two USB Type-C ports on the left. Leaks suggest that it has a 3:2 aspect ratio and measures 307 X 229 X 16mm.

The Social Media Story Behind Emergence of Realme book

However, this one may stand out, through being the world’s first mobile device to come with support for the OEM’s new MagDart technology. These impressions are reinforced by further new Flash teasers allegedly sent directly and “exclusively” from the OEM to GSMArena. They largely consist of images, one of which purports to show the new device connected to a larger, NUC-mimicking MagDart wireless charging station. The exact specs of this putative accessory remain unknown at present, although GSMArena now claims to have been told that its maximum wattage will exceed 15 watts (W).
